1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing playfest.africa or registering for any PLAYFEST 2026 game, qualifier stage, or viewer package, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any game-specific rules published on the site.
2. Eligibility
PLAYFEST 2026 qualifiers are open entry unless a game page states otherwise. Players under 18 require parental or guardian consent to register. Mashharder and PLAYFEST reserve the right to verify a player's identity and eligibility at any stage of competition.
3. Mashharder Profile Requirement
A Mashharder profile is required to complete registration for any qualifier, game, or viewer package. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your Mashharder profile and for all activity associated with it.
4. Registration & Fees
Qualifier entry is GH₵100 per player per game, with a multi-game pack and a GH₵50 viewer package available where offered. Fees are due at the time of registration and confirm your slot for the selected qualifier stage (Accra or Kumasi) subject to available capacity.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Registration fees are non-refundable except where a qualifier stage is cancelled or rescheduled by PLAYFEST. In that case, registered players will be offered a transfer to the rescheduled date or an equivalent-value credit.
6. Tournament Format & Rules
Each game's format, slot count, and prize distribution are published on that game's page and are final once a qualifier stage begins. PLAYFEST reserves the right to adjust brackets, schedules, or formats where necessary due to player turnout, technical issues, or venue constraints.
7. Code of Conduct
Players, viewers, and guests are expected to act with good sportsmanship. Cheating, use of unauthorized software, harassment, or disruptive conduct may result in disqualification without refund and removal from the venue.
8. Prizes & Qualification
Cash prizes, Main Event qualification spots, and ticket perks are awarded as described on each game's prize distribution table. Prizes are paid out to the winning player's verified Mashharder profile within the timeframe communicated at the event.
9. Media & Broadcast
By attending or competing in PLAYFEST 2026, you consent to being photographed, recorded, and featured in livestreams, broadcasts, and promotional material produced by PLAYFEST and Mashharder.
10. Limitation of Liability
PLAYFEST and Mashharder are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from participation, including travel, equipment, or personal property, except where required by Ghanaian law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms & Conditions ahead of future qualifier stages or events. Continued use of the site or participation in a subsequent stage constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
